Cycle Day Uh What?
I was expecting Aunt Flo to visit on Friday, which would make it cycle day (CD) 1. However, she sort of popped by and then left again, returning for a cup of tea on Saturday and then nothing. Finally, today she returned with a vengeance so YAY! But? Was Friday CD 1 or is it today? ARGGH!!! It is totally fucking with my master plan. Now I'm going to have to engage in LOTS MORE intercourse with TB just to be sure. *sigh* Any helpful words of wisdom out there in blogland?

For those who don't want to get knocked up , yet and use NFP aka use rubbers when very fertile, or for those who like to get impregnated asap.
I believe it is a MUST read for all women, since most are clueless about their own cycle.
I'm super fertile and we did not get preggo for a couple of months using her technique. And when we were ready: bingo!

Thanks Stella! I normally have a good idea what is going on with my cycle, I keep track of cervical mucus and all that jazz. But I don't usually have trouble getting my period to start. Dammit!

And for the record your cycle day started when aunt flo came and stayed. The other is considered spotting.
Use fertilityfriend.com, because I can check your chart and help you. Ovusoft is good, but I won't be able to review it and help you with it in the same way. I am doing this for Sprinkles right now, she calls me Dr.Anna. And right now, the doctor is in muther fucker.
I totally agree with Stella! I used it, not for baby making purposes, but for NOT making babies and it really helped. I enjoyed the book so much I ended up going out and buying it myself. There is a ton of great info in it.
On the other hand, lots more baby making activities doesn't sound THAT bad, now does it? ;)
Oh, FFS, just get some of those ovulation predictor stick-thingies and start peeing on them...oh...thirteen days after the first day of bleeding just to be sure. They work like a charm (at least they did the one time I MEANT to get knocked up) if you don't want to take ALL the fun out of sex by making your husband perform like a stud-horse. Of course, if you don't MIND doing that to him, then just bang away, that seems to work pretty well in my experience, too (in fact, having really hot sex seems to work pretty well even if you ARE on birth control, if you're me). Heee...

I gave a copy of the book to a friend who had trouble getting knocked up and within a few months of following Dreschler's advice was preggo. She did use those OTC tests prior. I'm a bit out of the loop lately. Most friends & family have reproduced, book is no longer needed... Mirena is my thing now.
and Eliza, not to be bitchy or anything, but not everyone has the same cycle length and so the day of ovulation may be later (as is in my case), and not the standard day 13 or 14...
Being horny like hell, acne outbreaks and gel like mucus are pretty good signs I'm fertile as a mofo....

Supposedly CD1 is like real flow.. I asked the same question on a yahoo group, cuz .. I kept spotting beforehand.. one reason why I got pregnant prolly. :P

suddenly, i understand how men feel when we talk about our periods in front of them. this is all so involved.
wow. i have new insight into the whole baby-making process. it's kind of hard for my brain to comprehend the whole "let's get pregnant on purpose!" concept. i am the girl who prays for her period and does the happy dance when it finally shows up. LOL
