Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story
It is like a train wreck with clowns and full-frontal male nudity.

My name is Sam. I jam out with my clam out. Every day. Even the days when the clam is unshaven or just plain funky. There is no life without the clam.

I work part time at the local theatre. Not only did I not have to pay to see this, I got my drink and popcorn free.
The drink was great (Mug Root Ber), the popcorn was kinda salty.
At least we learned a lesson about addiction and playing with machetes. And Jack Black as Paul McCartney was a nice touch. I liked the line where Dewey tells the Beatles he likes the Beatles music almost as much as the Monkees.
I think they were trying to make it so very, awful bad, that it came off as kinda cute. I agree they got the awful bad part right.
What surprised me, was that we had 4 to 12 people at some shows, and the only complaint I heard was a 70 year old lady that claimed, "I am too young to go to movies!"
I so wish that tagline applied to my life.
I guess this means I can't bring my kids to see this as they're both afraid of clowns and don't need to see full frontal nudity (because they'll both be in 7th grade soon enough).
trainwreck, clowns, full-frontal nudity...these are a few of my faaaaa-vorite things! Sadly this tagline DOES kind of apply to my life, but Anne can HAVE it. Bleh.
so......it's bad? or it's good? i am confused.
