Wish Me Luck
Today, Tuesday the 22nd of January, 2008 is the day I begin my Teaching Credential program at CSUSM. I am taking 19 units this semester. I'm a bit scared/stressed/worried and how the fuck do I think I can pull this off with my ridiculous, run-down, illegitimate body? Well, fine my parents got married before I was born, but STILL. I feel well and truly fucked.
*breathe in* *breathe out* *scream a little in silence* *kick helpless animals* *ahhhh....*
It will be okay. The diarrhea and fever and general fuckedness that I dealt with over the holiday weekend is over, with the exception of a multitude of noxious, burn your nose hairs type farts that are continuously emanating from my foul, foul ass. For those of you in WalMart late this evening behind me in check stand 11, I truly apologize. As they used to say "My bad!"

Any time you feel frazzled, think that you may be overwhelmed, just tell yourself, "Wow. I am wasting moments I could have been studying or caring for my family. I don't have time for wallowing in self pity anymore, at least not until graduation (and job hunting, and getting Virginia through dating and ..). Just trying to be helpful!
And you might try some fiber to scrape out anything toxic - oatmeal, metamucil - and a can of yogurt each day for a week for the acidophilus. Be cautious of fiber with sugar - apples can be a terrible torment at the wrong time (SBD's). Nothing good happends quickly, except maybe enjoying a sunset or loved one. See above.
Good Luck in school Sam! I empathize ... I have a full time job, some serious anemia and 26 credits between now and the end of May (gah, what was I thinking???)
Thankfully, 8 of the credits end mid-March before another 8 start so it isn't all at once, but still, what was I thinking?? What were you thinking? Probably the same as me, I. just. want. to. be. DONE.
Non tells me all the time "C's get degrees" ... my stupid perfectionism only allows A's but perhaps I should let that go?
You'll have to tell me how you like CSUSM. It is a relatively new campus and I've only seen it from the 78.
19 credits??? woman what were you thinking??? How many courses are you taking??
