Doctor, Doctor

I am searching for an doctor in the area, one to deal with general crap like um... stuff. You know. Like allergies. Yeah, that's it! So I did a search to find one that is in my PPO network and I found one that made me chuckle a little. Dr. William Kuntz. He he.

In Redlands, there is a medical office that focuses on gynecology. It's called the Beaver Medical Clinic.

I shit you not. Look it up.

That ROCKS. I'd go to that one just to be able to say things like "hmm, I think I'm getting a yeast infection, gotta go see Dr. Kuntz!" Even though I don't like to talk about Ms. Virginia IRL, for THAT I would overcome my issues with discussing my own personal junk. I HATE looking for a new GP. My specialists stay the same no matter what, because this is the kind of town where there's only one really good one of each and apparently even my HMO figures it's better to get things fixed than leave them broken with freaks like me, but I change GPs every time I change insurance companies, and my current one doesn't pay unless the person you're seeing is your PCP and only lets you change every 90 days, so you have to pick first, see them second, and THEN decide if they're The One, and if they're not you have to not get sick for three months so you can change again...I hit the jackpot on attempt #2. She's a good doctor with a great bedside manner who doesn't mind calling in things with no potential for abuse without seeing me, since she knows from reading my chart that I practically have an honorary MD by now. I'm in love.

Dr. Kuntz has been in town for YEARS (since I was very young and I'm 35 now). I remember my dad used to joke about his last name but I never understood WHY. Post childhood, now I know.

My oldest sister went to school with his daughter too. I know you needed to know that.
