Update

Although I'm still mostly stuck in the house due to poor air quality outside and the Chicken's school is canceled until at least Monday, the fire danger seems to have passed. Thank goodness! More posting when the sun rises.

I'm glad your ok and not toast. Make sure Chicken stays in as well so he don't breathe in the nastiness.

I am happy to hear you are safe. Seeing smoke and flames so near your home is scary -- I grew up watering down our shake shingle roof and the only time we turned on our AC was when a fire was burning (to filter the air). Temecula was rural back then, I always thought that fire danger would decrease with development. The past few fire seasons have proved me wrong, so wrong. :-(
