Romance At Its Finest

Teddy Bear bought me these LED beautiful candles from ThinkGeek.com some time ago, and while they are very cool and geeky I found them to be a bit defective. Supposedly you can light and turn them off them three ways:

1. Blow on them
2. Tap them
3. Clap at/near them

Numbers one and two work perfectly, you can even jostle them and they will turn off and on for you. I love the fact that I don't have to worry about leaving the room and a stupid cat (Reina, not Dude who is way too smart to play with fire) knocking them over and POOF! the house is gone. I'm a bit miffed at the fact that we've tried various clapping and yelling and shouting noises and the candles ignore us every time. The Chicken has tried, and most of you know how 10 year old boys can be with a challenge. Let's just say it was a noisy experiment and resulted in no candle lighting and one Mommy headache.

So tonight Teddy Bear and I lit the candles for um... uh... and blah blah blah I came back into the room and TB ripped one. A fantastic, very loud, extremely obnoxious scentless fart. And one of the candles went out. We laughed and called it coincidence until he ripped an equally noisy one two minutes later and the same candle turned back on. SEXY! I wonder if ThinkGeek.com put in a special sensor that can only hear geeky grown man farts.
