Recently I applied for a temp job through an employment agency. It paid less than I desired, however I thought it could keep the bills current while I sought decent wages and a job that required more than a GED. I interviewed first with the head of the office/bigwig and the office manager, then was invited back for second interview with the business unit managers (all four of them) and the bigwig and office manager. I was to fill in for the office manager while she was on maternity leave. After, if I was a really lucky girl I would get to be one of the office manager's administrative assistants. OMG. Beggars, choosers, etc.
So guess what? They didn't fucking hire me. WHAT?! Five shots of tequila and I'm still pissed. PISSED. Teddy Bear explains it to me this way:

Well, from having read most of your blog, I would say that you are indeed overqualified (as far as intelligence goes). People who are already a step above are apt to want to move up the "ladder" sooner than later. They might not want that. OH, and I am the first to admit that DVDA rocks, but Double A is no one's party. Late
