It Sucks

H3.2 has been wanting a Dyson DC15 "The Ball" vacuum for the past few months. He even changed his wallpaper on his work computer from a Corvette C6R race car to this vacuum. He was obsessed. Every store we visited he looked to see if they carried the vacuum, compares prices and features and generally just drooled over the fucking thing night and day. I'm pretty sure that's what he is thinking about when he's um.. ya know. It's a VACUUM for God's sake.

All of his friends have been harassing him about his lust for this damn thing. The derision has not deterred him one bit. Wednesday he was upset about his Corvette being in the shop and decided like any sensible gal that shopping with Teddy Bear would help his mood. He comes home with the vacuum at 10:00pm at night and proceeds to vacuum the whole living and dining room. I couldn't fucking believe it. Then he starts showing off various features to Teddy Bear. I just had to have a picture of this for future blackmail. H3.2 is the one holding the vacuum while Teddy Bear holds the canister up in the air.

Later, H3.2 spends some quality 69 time with his new found love. Chicken saw the picture below and said: "It looks like you're not his girlfriend anymore Mommy".

Why do I not have a man like that??In the old times he (my darling husband P) used to do our laundry. That is untill he screwed up some woolen items of mine.
Really??? You cannot wash those items warm or even worse: put them in the dryer??? aaaarrrgh that cost me a couple of nice skirts and sweaters $$$

Over time he evolved in Mr. Handyman, which is also very useful I have to say. Took him over 10 years, but hey we all have to start somewhere!
He now is almost done building a tree house for the kids. He build even the stairs from scratch.

Is this the same clumse I knew who hammered right through a coffee table while putting it together, which was giving to us as a present (with the present giving friend watching on while he destroyed her gift!)

Wow, people can change!

Hey I know Manblogger is a catch...and I tell him so all the time!!! It is really nice to have someone in your life that will actually help out around the house. I was married over 30 years and the ex NEVER did shit around the house...only bellowed to me that it needed to get done.

Malia- The one H3.2 bought was an "open box" model. It cost $503, but he had a bunch of gift certificates so I think the end cost was $350.

Gramps/Dad- I know. What can I say?

Manblogger- Teddy Bear is H3.2's good friend and Chicken's nanny/babysitter. I have a post somewhere around here about him and how he got his nickname. He's one of the few "real" people that read my blog.

Gerbera- You and manblogger crack me up! It is great to have someone that works as your partner around the house. We're lucky!

Nessa- H3.2 was proud to tell me that the Dyson will work well on our tile floors as well as the carpet!

We live in older, well 15 - 20 years old area with houses that actually have backyards. In fancier La Costa, Carlsbad, walking distance from here, the houses are very nice and newer but you can barely walk around your house.
We have some trees in the yard, right along to the fence with the neighbors.
We had a little harvest sofar: plums, figs and a few pounds of apples. We also have a little kumquat tree. the treehouse is build partly in a tree but supported by poles underneath. P. already painted it partly. Once it is all done I will post some pictures on my blog okay? in a few weeks from now.
We live in a perfect location!

One more vacuum cleaner remark:
The canister models make more sense: their are less heavy to push and you can reach underneath beds etc without having to put on all kinds of attachments!
I just have Kenmore, their best model though

This post was cute Sam.

Hope the vette is back - and I'm with him on the
Dyson, not enough to hug
it, but close :)

Don't worry about replacement Sam, I'm sure
you have the mouth power
of an industrial vaccum
cleaner, that Dyson doesn't stand a chance
against.

Now, gotta go catch up
with the rest of your posts.

Right now, I see your cute
pink butt and scorpion tat.

Must read, I am sure ~!

Geezer- Haven't seen you around these parts in a while. How's the land down under treating you?

Kat- I've got a good one, that I do!

Essie- Makes sense. I remember when the south side of La Costa was all cows and rolling hills. No more. I can't wait for the pics!

Robin- H3.2 loves the vacuum, it seems to do a great job. I haven't been allowed to touch it yet, lol.

Cathi- The vette is still in the shop. At least he has a rental car for the duration. The dealer is really giving him a load of shit. Thanks for your confidence in my suction skills!

Suzie- Sunday wasn't too bad, not the best pain and energy wise but I'll live. Glad to here that you had the energy for a little adventure!

Nessa- H3.2 loves it.

Lejnd- I'm waiting for that day, it may be soon.

Art- Ain't it sweet?

DD- Yep. And it plugs in....

Seeker- Yeah, the kid is weird. But so am I... I think some moms used to keep diaries and such.
